We believe in living well to the end of your days

Welcome. Garden House Hospice Care is a local charity providing free, compassionate palliative care and support to patients and their families. Our services are available to people living in the communities of North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Supporting us

It will cost us £8.5m this year to provide our services free of charge. Every penny you can give will make a difference to people affected by a life-limiting illness or long-term condition in North Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

Your donation

£22 would fund an hour of care on the Inpatient Unit for someone with frailty who has been transferred following a stay in hospital

£39 may cover one hour of our Admiral Nurse's work, providing support, advice and guidance to patients and families with dementia

£50 could fund one seated exercise session for around 33 people attending a Wellbeing Hub

£8 could pay for clean bedding and towels for all our patients, for one day

£14 could fund a freshly cooked meal for a patient on our Inpatient Unit
