Gift Aid is worth approximately £1.3 billion to the UK charity sector each year and a further £560 million goes unclaimed. If you are a UK tax payer, Garden House Hospice Care can reclaim the tax you have already paid on every donation you make, which includes items donated to our shops. By agreeing to Gift Aid, the value of your sold items will increase by 25% because we can claim that back from HM Revenue and Customs - at no extra cost to you!

How do I register for Gift Aid?
Do I have to fill out a form every time I donate?
No - the first time you sign up, we'll give you a Gift Aid card which you can present to a member of the team each time you donate. If you forget it, you can just let us know your surname and postcode so we can match you to your donations.
What happens if my details or circumstances change?
You can notify us at any time if you want to cancel your Gift Aid declaration, change the name or home address on your declaration, or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income/become ineligible for Gift Aid.
