Driver & Distribution Coordinators
We are looking to recruit two new Driver & Distribution Coordinators to support with servicing our shop locations with quality stock and collecting old stock for recycling.
Garden House Hospice Trading company exists to provide funds to Garden House Hospice Care, a local charity providing free, compassionate end of life care and support to patients and their families in the communities of North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
To support us with our vision and ensure we can deliver this we are looking to grow our team at our distribution and warehouse facility, The Depot, in Letchworth.
What skills will I need?
This is an exciting and varied role and would suit someone who has experience working in logistics, stock rotation or delivery driving. You will have excellent customer service skills and can communicate and work with people from all backgrounds. You will be responsible for managing a team of volunteers, so it is essential that you are able to support and lead a team of people. You should have a good understanding of health and safety processes and be confident in supporting volunteers with this. A great work ethic, the ability to think on your feet and a sense of humour is also necessary!
This is a full time position covering 37.5 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis. The successful candidate will require a C3 Driving Licence.
