Sunset Starlight Walk
Join us on Saturday 13th September at our annual Sunset Starlight Walk, where every step walked is a step toward funding our specialist care. The 6.5 mile circular route starts and finishes at Letchworth Hall hotel, taking in acres of countryside and surrounding villages as the sun sets and the stars come out.
In addition to the sunset, there will be light and sound shows along the way, including our spectacular tunnel of lights. We also encourage walkers to help light up the night by wearing glowsticks and fancy dress, and bring some form of proper lighting such as a torch.
Sunset Starlight Walk is a 'walk to remember', whether you're walking to celebrate the lives of those no longer with us, make new memories… or perhaps a bit of both. It's a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a late summer's evening walk, so grab your friends, family, colleagues, walking group or sports club and sign up today! Your four-legged friends are also welcome to join in the fun.

Sponsorship
We need to raise £15,300 a day in charitable income to provide our specialist care free of charge to the local community. Sunset Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk and we are hopeful that it will raise enough to fund our entire services for two days. Here are some targets you could aim for and what they might pay for:
- £107 could pay for a Rehab and Wellbeing activity, such as a Tai Chi class
- £220 could cover all the refreshments at a Wellbeing Hub for a whole year
- £569 could fund 24 hours of care for one patient on the Inpatient Unit
- £774 could pay for a day of home visits from our Hospice at Home team.
