This course is suitable for classroom practitioners who wish to develop an understanding of how to support children who experience loss and bereavement. Through open discussions and a Q&A, this session will equip school staff with a toolkit of practical advice to take back to the school setting.

Aims for the session

• What factors can influence and impact a child’s grief and how you can support them
• What grieving children feel and how they might behave in school (pre- or post- bereavement)
• Practical strategies and advice for use in the classroom.

Registration fee

£24 per head for each 3-hour session. This could cover the cost of us providing a freshly cooked lunch and dinner for a patient.
