This training is a 2-hour session about understanding dementia aimed at all staff and volunteers wanting to know more about dementia.

The training will give you an overview of what dementia is and why it is important to know about it. It will help you recognise symptoms of dementia and understand the importance of recognising the person with dementia as a unique individual.
