Medical Consultant
We are looking for a full or part time consultant to join our Hospice Medical Team.
Garden House Hospice Care is an award-winning hospice based in Letchworth, serving the people of North Hertfordshire. The Medical Team works closely with the Hospice multidisciplinary team to provide symptom control, reablement and last days of life care to those with a life limiting illness under our care.
The successful applicant will work across the Hospice inpatient unit, outpatients and in the domiciliary setting, including in providing consultant support to the Herts Community Trust palliative care CNS team.
The successful applicant will take part in the Hertfordshire palliative medicine consultant non-resident on call rota.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Hospice Medical Director in management and strategy relating to Hospice medical care and also in clinical governance and quality improvement work. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to be involved in teaching and research, including being the Clinical Supervisor to medical trainees.
The full-time salary scale value range for this role is £105,504 to £139,882. The successful applicant will be paid pro rata of the appropriate salary point, dependent on past experience.
