Sunset Starlight Walk raises a whopping £42,000
Our annual 6.5 mile Sunset Starlight Walk fundraiser took place on Saturday 7th September, starting and finishing at Letchworth Hall Hotel. 418 people helped ‘light up the night’, collectively raising more than £42,000 in sponsorship.
We are delighted with the truly incredible amount raised. It could fund more than six days of care for all patients on our Inpatient Unit, including the cost of nursing and doctors, and running costs like hot water.

Adam Brockett is Product and Events Development Lead at the Hospice:
“This year was one of our largest, and possibly noisiest, Sunset Starlight Walks in the last 15 years. It was just wonderful to see so many people come together and create a real atmosphere of togetherness and community.
“We are thrilled with the fundraising efforts of our walkers - thank you to each and every one of you.”

Jo Heasman participated in Sunset Starlight Walk for the first time this year:
“This is a walk I have often heard about and this year I finally decided to take part; I was just blown away! It has to be one of the most special, magical walks I have ever taken part in and it allowed me to cherish so many memories.
“I have been telling all my colleagues at work about my experience and I can guarantee both myself and many others will be with you all again in 2025!”
