
Senior Healthcare Assistant - Community Team
We are looking for Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our wonderful community team to contribute to the provision of high-quality holistic care for patients at home.
What does the Senior Healthcare Assistant role involve?
Working as part of a wider team, you will visit patients in their homes in and around North Hertfordshire to provide hands-on basic nursing and personal care. Our aim is to ensure patients with life limiting illnesses, and those who matter to them, are at the centre of the care we provide whilst enabling them to be comfortable and remain in their own homes.

What skills does a Senior Healthcare Assistant need?
The successful candidate will have at last three years’ experience within a healthcare setting and preferably have worked in the community/domiciliary care. You’ll have great communication and team working skills along with a compassionate nature and passion for palliative care. You will need to be able to work flexibly, have access to a car and a UK driving licence.
The role will at times be demanding but also very rewarding. Our service is operational 7 days a week - 8.00 am to 9.30 pm each day. We pay enhanced rates for unsociable hours along with business mileage expenses.
We have full time and part time positions available with hours to suit.
