Van Drivers' Assistants
Assist with the collection, delivery and movement of donated goods for Garden House Hospice Care.
Van Drivers' Assistants
Our Van Drivers' Assistants play a crucial role in the collection, delivery and movement of donated goods for the Hospice. They help ensure our high street and online shops have a constant supply of good quality stock to sell. The funds raised help the Hospice to provide support and care to people affected by a life limiting diagnosis.
What you can expect…
You'll help with the transportation of goods including clothing, furniture and other household items, between the Hospice, our The Depot and our shops across Stevenage and North Herts. You will also visit the homes of local people to collect or deliver donated items, always providing a smile and great customer service. Each day will be different, you'll meet a wide range of people, learn new skills and be supported at all times by our friendly and helpful staff members.
How you can help…
All you need is a reasonable level of fitness and a willingness to help. If you're friendly, reliable, punctual and over the age of 18, you'll be a great addition to the team.
