About the course:

A session to gain an understanding in Advance Care Planning and ReSPECT, including DNACPR and the associated legal and ethical issues

 

Who should attend?

This course is designed for health and social care professionals working in a hospice, acute, community or care home setting who require an introduction to Advance Care Planning or who wish to develop their communication skills in relation to difficult conversations.

ReSPECT (Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment) is an alternative process being used in East and North Herts for discussing, making and recording recommendations about future emergency care and treatment, including CPR.
