Swim, cycle and run for Garden House Hospice Care as we team up with BurntHare Events for the Hitchin Triathlon. We have limited places available at this local event which, with two distances and a separate route for children, is set to be an event suitable for all. All routes start at Hitchin Swimming Pool, followed by a countryside cycle and run around the park and town centre.

• Sprint Triathlon: 400m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run
• Nitro Triathlon: 200m swim, 12km cycle, 2.5km run
• Atom (Kids) Triathlon: 100m swim (ages 7-10) or 200m swim (ages 11-14), 2km cycle, 1km run

This means we need you and your friends, family and colleagues to join 'Team Garden House' - our ever growing team of amazing runners, trekkers and challengers taking on fundraising events like the Hitchin Triathlon to raise vital funds for the Hospice. Whether you're a seasoned triathlete looking to achieve a personal best or just getting started on your fitness journey, every penny raised will truly make a difference.

Age restrictions

You must be 17 or older on event day to take part in the Sprint or Nitro Triathlon, and between 8 and 16 to take part in the Atom Triathlon.

Please note: Adults must book for anyone under 18 at the time of booking. Please choose the relevant ticket when registering and include your details first, then fill in the attendee details on the second screen.

Registration

The registration fee for this event is £33 per person for the Sprint or Nitro Triathlon, or £12 per child for the Atom (Kids) Triathlon. Adult prices includes a free 'Team Garden House' running vest or technical t-shirt - you can confirm your preference and size upon sign-up.

Sponsorship

We ask each triathlete to pledge to raise a minimum of £223 for Garden House Hospice Care. This amount could cover the cost of the medication we provide our patients on the Inpatient Unit for one per day.
