Welcome. We are a local charity providing free, compassionate palliative care and support to patients and their families. Our services are available to people living in the communities of North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

It costs us £7.7m a year to provide our services free of charge, with only a third of this funding coming from the NHS.

£24 will pay for an hour of attentive care on our Inpatient Unit, for one patient

admiral-nurse-lucy-leading-a-training-session-on-dementia-care

£40 will pay for one hour of our Admiral Nurse providing support, advice and guidance to patients and families with dementia

an-outdoor-seated-tai-chi-class

£60 could contribute to an activity from our Rehab and Wellbeing team, such as a physiotherapy appointment or Tai Chi class

two-hospice-at-home-staff-sitting-in-a-car

£5 will pay for petrol for one home visit by our community team 

cook-wearing-face-mask-stirs-soup-on-the-stove

£10 will pay for a freshly cooked meal for a patient on our Inpatient Unit

£20 will pay for clean bedding and towels for all our patients, for one day
