Festive fundraisers: What's on this winter

Our Christmas events offer fun for the whole community. Come together with friends, family and colleagues and have a jolly good time while supporting Garden House Hospice Care.

Choir singing at King’s Cross

Saturday 14th December (11am - 3pm)

Kings Cross Station

Heading into London to see the city’s festive lights or do a spot of last-minute Christmas shopping? With trains direct to Kings Cross from Letchworth, Hitchin, Stevenage, Baldock and other local stations, make sure to stop and watch the performances by the choir on your way to the underground! They’ll be performing Christmas classics while collecting donations from passers-by, all in aid of Garden House Hospice Care.

Santa’s Grotto

Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd December (11am-1pm & 2-4pm)

Hitchin Market Square

Teaming up with Hitchin BID, the market square will once again be transformed into Santa’s Grotto. For a small donation of £4 per child, your youngsters can meet Santa himself just days before he sets off delivering presents around the world! Make this Christmas one to remember for the kids while helping us to continue to provide our specialist care throughout the festive season.

Farmer's on Christmas Lights Tour

Saturday 21st December, 6-7.30pm

Baldock, Letchworth & Hitchin

The Farmers on Christmas Lights Tour promises to be bigger and better than ever, bringing wonderful festive cheer tractor-style a few days before Christmas. The convoy of tractors and farm vehicles will be draped in flashing lights, snowmen, snowflakes and Christmas trees as they parade the streets in a sight that is sure to put a smile on the faces of everyone. The event is free but donations will be collected on the night. You can also donate through JustGiving or by texting TRACTOR to 70460 to give £5*.

*Texts will cost the donation amount plus one standard network rate message.
