Kerry's Annual Charity Bike Ride raises a further £9.5k

For the 19th consecutive year, Kerry's Annual Charity Bike ride has raised thousands in vital funds for Garden House Hospice Care, bringing the collective total to more than £51,000 over the years.

Starting and finishing at the George and Dragon pub in Graveley, the 30-mile bike ride attracted 160 cyclists of all abilities and ages. The event was followed by a family-friendly afternoon of fun, including a bouncy castle, barbecue, live music and raffle.

The 2023 event saw organiser Kerry Golds raise a sum of £9,533.66 in donations for the Hospice, enough to fund our entire services for nearly a whole day.

Kerry wrote on the event Facebook page:

"I cannot thank [everyone] enough. You were all just amazing and all had smiles despite how busy it was. Months of planning all paid off. Thanks for all the support, donations and everyone who took part."

Claire Lunnon, Fundraising Coordinator - Individuals and Community at the Hospice, added:

"We were delighted to work again with Kerry Golds for Kerry's Annual Bike Ride 2023. Yet again, hundreds of cyclists turned out to support Garden House Hospice Care raising an amazing amount. I would like to thank everyone for their support with this event raising vital funds for our patients and their families.

"We are really looking forward to working with Kerry next summer, for the 20th year anniversary."
