Hackney Half Marathon
Hackney Half Marathon is an exciting and vibrant road race that takes place in the London Borough of Hackney. The route take you through the streets of East London, running through iconic neighbourhoods including Shoreditch, Dalston and Victoria Park. The course showcases the area's diverse culture, street art and historic landmarks, and is known for its energetic and supportive atmosphere. Spectators line the streets, cheering on runners and creating a festive vibe.
We need you, your friends, family and colleagues to join 'Team Garden House' - our ever growing team of runners, trekkers and challengers to take on events such as the Hackney Half Marathon and help raise vital funds for the Hospice. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or simply want to enjoy the experience, this race caters to everyone - from beginners to seasoned athletes.
Age restrictions
You must be 16 or older on event day to take part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon.
Please note: Adults must book for anyone under 18 at the time of booking. Please choose the relevant ticket when registering and include your details first, then fill in the attendee details on the second screen.
Registration
The registration fee for this event is £23 per person. This includes a free 'Team Garden House' running vest or technical t-shirt - you can confirm your preference and size upon sign-up.
Sponsorship
We ask each runner to pledge to raise a minimum of £450 for Garden House Hospice Care. Why? Because this will fund the seated exercise sessions at nine of our Wellbeing Hubs for one week, each attended by an average of 33 lonely and isolated people in locations around Stevenage, Letchworth and Hitchin.
Make 2025 the year you help Garden House Hospice Care provide its free palliative care in North Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
