You have an exciting opportunity to join an award winning team as a Physiotherapist in our Rehab and Wellbeing service.
At Garden House Hospice Care, our team of passionate professionals bringing specialist expertise to ensure the best support and care is available for people living with frailty and life limiting conditions today, tomorrow, and in the future. You'll be working as part of our Rehab and Wellbeing team.
What does our ideal Physiotherapist candidate look like?
You will be an enthusiastic clinician with experience of working within a range of settings as a Physiotherapist, and able to demonstrate their ability to work with patients and families who have changing needs, both on an individual basis and in groups.
You will work within a small and supportive multi-disciplinary team across the hospice, across the In-patient unit, Day services, Patients own homes, to provide high quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
What will you be doing?
- Working collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary team, promoting a high standard of therapeutic and rehabilitative care for our patients, both within the Hospice and at the patients' own homes
- Be responsible for managing a caseload along with ongoing assessment, treatment, intervention and discharge planning of patients at the Hospice
- Coordinate and deliver the therapeutic group programme content at Garden House Hospice Care.
What skills do you need?
- A BSc degree in Physiotherapy
- A current Driving Licence and have the use of a car for business purposes.
